The party really starts when your child spots their favourite character on the cake. Here are the character cakes for kids you can actually order from Avon Cake, from Spider-Man and SpongeBob to Labubu, Minecraft and Hello Kitty, with sizes, who each one suits, and an ordering tip. Character not here? We'll show you how to design a kids' birthday cake in their colours, with their name. Every design is also in kids' and character cakes.
Fillings and flavour: every cake here comes with a choice of filling: cream, Nutella, berry, lotus or pistachio. You pick the cake flavour (such as chocolate) on the product page.
Spider-Man cake: the Spider-Man Lunch Box
Spider-Man tops the character searches that bring people to Avon Cake. Our Spider-Man cake is the Spider-Man Lunch Box: a small cake that comes in a burger box, with your own message written on top.
- Size: 4 inch, serves 2.
- Best for: the little superhero on his big day, a small celebration, or a gift for a friend.
- Ordering tip: more kids coming? Keep the lunch box as the birthday child's own cake and add a bigger one for guests. A red Comic Cake suits the Spider-Man theme, or create a cake in his colours with his name in Design Your Cake.
SpongeBob cake
The SpongeBob Cake comes with a SpongeBob design, and you write the child's name or a short message on the cake itself. A cheerful pick for boys and girls.
- Sizes: 5 inch (3 people), 6 inch (4), 8 inch (6), 10 inch (8) and 12 inch (10).
- Best for: a family birthday or a party with friends.
- Ordering tip: add the age to the name, like "Ryan is 5". The 12-inch needs booking the day before.
Teddy bear cake
To be upfront: we don't have a large teddy-bear-shaped cake. We do have the Teddy Bear Love Cupcake: cake in a stylish cup, decorated with a teddy holding a red heart and gift-wrapped. It's a romantic design, made for Valentine's and other love occasions.
- Size: a single cup.
- Best for: a sweet gift for a girl who loves teddies, or a little love gesture.
- Ordering tip: planning a teddy-bear theme for a boy's or girl's party? Design a cake in soft colours with the child's name in Design Your Cake, and top it with our Bear Candle.
Labubu cake
The Labubu Cake is decorated with a Labubu doll, in the colour you choose: pink, light green, baby blue or Tiffany.
- Sizes: 6 inch (4 people), 8 inch (6), 10 inch (8) and 12 inch (10).
- Best for: girls and boys who are into the Labubu trend.
- Ordering tip: go with your child's favourite colour. Writing on the board is optional, and the red ribbon in the photo is for decoration only.
Minecraft cake
The Minecraft Cake is decorated with characters from the game and is double height.
- Sizes: 6 inch double (7 people), 8 inch double (11) and 10 inch double (15).
- Best for: young gamers and bigger parties.
- Ordering tip: put the young player's name on the board. The print isn't edible and sits on sugar paste, so remove it before eating.
Hello Kitty cake, cupcakes and package
- Hello Kitty Cake: a Hello Kitty design with writing on the cake, and on the board too if you like. From 5 inch (3 people) to 12 inch (10 people).
- Hello Kitty Cupcakes: 8 cupcakes with a Hello Kitty design, two of them carrying her age.
- Hello Kitty Package: a pink 6-inch Hello Kitty cake (4 people) with a backdrop, a HAPPY BIRTHDAY headband, an Avon coffee box, and her photo and name, which you upload when you order.
Ordering tip: for a complete party with no fuss, get the package and add the cupcakes for her friends.
Mickey Mouse cake
To be clear: the Mickey Mouse Love Cake is a love cake. It's a red heart printed with Mickey and Minnie together, made as a Valentine's gift.
- Sizes: 5 inch (3 people) up to 12 inch (10 people).
- Best for: a girl who loves Mickey and Minnie.
- Ordering tip: the writing goes on the board, so add her name.
Comic cakes: a cartoon look for any age
The Comic Cake is decorated in comic style, with bold black lines that give it a cartoon look, in pink or red, with writing on the cake. From 5 inch (3 people) to 12 inch (10 people). It also comes as:
- Heart Comic Cake: pink, white or baby blue.
- 3-Layer Comic Cake: 6, 5 and 4-inch tiers serving 7, with candles and a bow.
Toy Story and unicorn
- Toy Story Cake: patterns from the film with the Toy Story logo on top, and your child's name printed in English, logo-style. From 6 inch (4 people) to 12 inch (10 people).
- Unicorn Cup: cake in a cup with a unicorn design and pink cream, plus a message on top.
