Need cupcakes for a graduation party, a birthday or a box of giveaways for your guests? Cupcakes suit almost any celebration: they're small, decorated, easy to hand out, and every guest gets their own without any cutting. Here are the cupcakes you can order from Avon Cake, how many come in each box, what you can write on them, and how delivery works in Riyadh and our other cities.
Cupcakes vs. cake cups: what's the difference?
The two names get mixed up a lot, and we make both:
- Cupcakes: small individual cakes in paper cases, ordered by the box (8 pieces, for example). Great for giveaways and serving guests.
- Cake cups: a single-serving cake in a cup, with a message you write yourself. Made for gifting one person, like the Cake Cup with Avon Coffee, which comes with a cup of Arabic coffee, the Graduation Cake Cup and the Birthday Cake Cup.
You'll find both on our cupcakes and cake cups page. This guide is about cupcakes for occasions.
Graduation cupcakes: for the class and the graduate
Cupcakes are one of the easiest graduation treats: put them on the party table, hand them out to the class and teachers, or give them to the graduate alongside their cake.
1. Graduation Cupcakes
Our Graduation Cupcakes are decorated with graduation designs and come 8 to a box.
- Fillings: cream, Nutella, berry, lotus or pistachio.
- Writing: to change the wording on the cupcakes, add it to the order notes, one or two words only. It's usually written in English so it reads clearly.
2. Graduation Joy Package with Cupcakes
Want a gift for the graduate? The Graduation Joy Package pairs a 4-inch lunch box cake that serves two with 4 cupcakes.
- Fillings: cream, Nutella, berry, strawberry or pistachio.
- Writing: your message goes on the cake; any change to the cupcake wording goes in the order notes (one or two words).
Graduation giveaway ideas
- For the whole class: count the students, then order boxes of graduation cupcakes to match.
- For teachers and staff: a box of pistachio cupcakes with a thank-you message on the board.
- For a party at home: a big graduation cake in the middle and cupcakes around it. Browse designs in graduation cakes.
- As a gift: add the recipient's number and your card message when you order.
Birthday cupcakes
Birthday cupcakes work on their own or next to the main cake, and they make handing out treats at a kids' party much easier.
3. Hello Kitty Cupcakes
The Hello Kitty Cupcakes are decorated with Hello Kitty and come 8 to a box, two of them carrying the age. You type the number when you order.
- Fillings: cream, Nutella, berry, lotus or pistachio.
- Want a matching cake? The Hello Kitty Cake comes in 5 to 12 inch, with the name written on the board.
4. Pistachio-Filled Cupcakes
The Pistachio-Filled Cupcakes come in boxes of 4, 10 or 16, with your message on the board. They suit birthdays, guests and giveaways, and pair nicely with Avon coffee.
All four have a chocolate cake base. For the main birthday cake, see our birthday cakes, or create one in your party colours with your own message in Design Your Cake.
How many cupcakes should you order?
Here's what comes in each box, so you can add boxes up to your guest count:
| Product | Pieces | Writing | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Graduation Cupcakes | 8 | 1–2 words in the order notes | Class giveaways |
| Graduation Joy Package | 4 + a 4-inch cake (serves 2) | On the cake | A gift for the graduate |
| Hello Kitty Cupcakes | 8 (2 with the age) | The age | Kids' birthdays |
| Pistachio-Filled Cupcakes | 4, 10 or 16 | On the board | Guests and giveaways |
- Start with your headcount, then combine boxes, for example two boxes of graduation cupcakes plus a box of pistachio.
- Is there a big cake too? Then cupcakes are the extra treat. If they're the only dessert, order on the generous side.
- School and class parties: add a spare box for teachers or guests you didn't count.
Short messages for cupcakes and cakes
Messages on a cake or board can be up to 25 characters; on the graduation cupcakes, one or two words:
- Graduation: Congrats Grad 🎓, Proud of you, مبروك التخرج
- Birthday: Happy Birthday Lama, Happy Birthday, كل عام وأنت بخير
- Thank-you treats: Thanks for coming, Thank You
